Membership

The Tamworth Pig Breeders Club was established in 2004 to promote the breed and help breeders.

The Tamworth Pig Breeders Club aims:

• To encourage and foster interst in the breed

• To encourage pedigree registration

• To encourage breeders to exhibit their pigs at shows

• To promote the sale of pedigree breeding stock to other breeders

• To promote Tamworth meat products

So Why Join?

• The Club provides Breed Championship rosettes to all shows showing Tamworth pigs as a way of promoting the breed

• The Club has a get together once a year for an AGM and social event. This is a great way to meet other members and swap hints and tips.

• Receive three news letters a year

• We provide a free 'stock for sale' service to members
  

• Free general advice is available to all members
  

• We have developed leaflets which members will be able to give to people purchasing their stock offering general advice and information.
  

• We are regular advertisers in 'Country Smallholder' and 'The Ark' which will in turn increase awareness and sales of stock which will be of benefit to individual members

Membership is just £15 per household, per year.  The membership year runs October-September, with subs due each October.
